Doggie Diners was a local chain of drive-ins in the San Francisco area. The diners featured a large Dachshund wearing a white coat and bowtie. The chain begain in 1949 and closed in 1986.

The very last Doggie Diner head is now at the entrance of the San Francisco zoo, at the corner of Sloat Boulevard and 45th Street.

The Doggie Diner doggie heads have been a frequent subject of Zippy the Pinhead.

One collection of Doggie Diner heads is mobile and a frequent participant in local parades.
