This photo is a fair example of the condition of the road for many stretches from Cumberland to Wheeling. The top surface has worn off and nothing but the telford is left. 5700 feet of the road from the Weshington borough limits eastward through Pancake, including this particular stretch, is under construction. (See Nos. 33, 34, 59, 60, 82, 83.)
