Harding Highway
www.harding-highway-museum.orgAnother of the named highways upon which Route 40 was built is the Harding Highway. Specifically, sixty miles of Route 40 in New Jersey use the Harding Highway. It was created in 1923 following the untimely death of Warren G. Harding.
