Growing up in Kansas City, Kansas, I enjoyed late night dinners at the VICTORY JUNCTION RESTAURANT in the Piper area! It's just an abandoned building now. But finally, as an adult, I work at a hotel just 1 mile from the original Victory Highway. Here's the link to a 2007 October 24 newspaper article from the Tonganoxie Mirror. Good reading about the history of Victory Highway and the former Victory Junction Restaurant.
