Is US 40 the same as the old Lincoln Highway. If it is I traveled it as a child the 1930s from Oakmont (town west(?) of Pittsburgh to Bedford, Pa. with my parents and 2 brothers. to visit my aunt who had a farm in Bedford. Her barn was a casualty of the Penna turnpike. |

No, the Lincoln Highway is US 30, which runs north of US 40. |
