Barkcamp Creek Bridge

Morristown, OH 43718

Barkcamp Creek Bridge is stone arch bridge spanning Barkcamp Creek 1/2 mile east of Morristown, Belmont County, Ohio on a decommissioned section of the highway, north of the current alignment.

The bridge was built around 1828 and was part of the original National Pike and the original alignment of Route 40; today it is marked as Township Road 814. In the photo below, note the Masonic symbol in the keystone.
