Dean's Tavern (site)Old National PikeBartonsville, MD 21704 From Searight's The Old Pike (1894): One mile west of Wharton's [Tavern] the widow Dean kept a tavern. Her house was a brick structure on the south side of the road, and she owned it and the ground whereon it stood, in fee simple. She was largely patronized by wagoners.
