This shows a view of the road near Odell. John L. Horn conducts a store at this place. On the north side of the road opposite his store can be seen an old mile post. '90 to Cumberland, to Wheeling 41.' Two miles westward is Glyde. From Odell to Glyde the traveler passes the site of the celebrated 'Gals House,' 'Dead Man's Hollow,' and a famous point known as 'Egg Nog Hill.'
