John Kennedy Lacock Braddock Road Postcard No. 21: Keyser Ridge, near Oakton, Md.1908Keyser Ridge, MDCaption: There is no other part of the old Braddock Road which presents such difficulties to the traveler as that portion of it over Keyser Ridge. The underbrush is so thick in places that one is compelled to crawl in order to keep the road. This mountain chain is very rocky and the passes are extremely difficult.
