Sacramento, CA 95838Eddie Lang is a long-time advocated for U.S. Route 40 in California. In 1998 he persuaded the California legislature to designate Route 40 between Reno and San Francisco as Historic Route 40. (He is no longer involved with erecting the historc signs.) He was also been behind the effort to erect Historic Route 40 signs. Mr. Lang lives in the Sacramanto area.

I was wondering how that great Eddie Lang is doing? He and I designed the California Route 40 sign and newsletter together. Eddie was always an amazing guy, talking about how he started the historic route 40 club with only 8 cents in his pocket...we lost touch; it was always fun to hang with Eddie. |
