Freddie's Lounge was the best bar for good rock and original music in Denver (Lakewood)in the 70's.
Flyers and Ace Pancakes were the best local bands that played at Freddies. Even Willie Nelson and Spanky& Our Gang played there.
"Sex Booze and Rock&Roll" was the Freddie's motto on the Freddie's Tshirts & other paraphenalia -
also "Happy Hour 241-426"
Thanks Larry and Jane Ambrose, Swede the doorman, Bonnie, Cheryl, Flyers, Ace Pancakes and everybody at Freddie's for all the good rockin' times. Hope you're all still above ground and happy.
