George Stewart U.S. 40 Photograph No. 07 - Baltimore Rows
759 West Fayette Street
Baltimore, MD 21201Fayette Street is not longer Alternate Route 40 (although some maps still mark it with that former designation). The row houses on the south side of the block remain, however, the rows on the north side were demolished to build a high rise housing project. That in turn was razed and replaced with more conventional townhouses. I've been searching to identify the two children in the original photo but have had no luck.
