Mineola, MO 63361The old bridge and alignment over the Loutre River are long gone. This scene looking west on I-70 is as close as you can get to the original location. The river was named by French fur trappers and is French for otter.

This shot of 70 is not where old 40 was or is. Old 40 goes through Mineola about 1/2 mile south of this location. |
