Wadsworth, NVThis is a tough vantage point to locate. I figured that landmarks in the photo would make it easy to find - but that was a terrible assumption. I was able to finally pinpoint the location using Google Earth and Google Maps' street views. When I went to shot this in 2007 the old lakebed as very wet and swampy. Even though I had an SUV, I was nervous about getting stuck in the muck.
I'm hoping to get this shot on my next trip out west.
