Frank - First of all, I love this website as I'm a history buff and love the old highways. I remember the Hines truck stop well as I went to school with the sons, Roger and Billy and we spent a lot of time there when in high school. We would get free burgers and fries.
Also the Smokin Bar-B-Q on West Fifth Street in Dayton is in the original White Tower building and they have great BBQ.
I'll put this site in my favorites.
