Cambridge, OH 43725According to John Taylor (n8fxl@clover.net), the original location of The Lodge was at the present location of the eastbound Route 40 to southbound I-77 onramp. John also notes that the business was moved ca. 1960 to 1821 East Wheeling Avenue and eventually torn down. Today, a Long John Silvers is at that location.
John continues, 'The owner and operator was Homer Bonam and he baked cream pies to die for with meringue about 2 inches thick. And the kitchen floor was clean enough to eat off of. He ran a class place.'
