Carlin Canyon
Carlin, NV 89822A rugged canyon east of the town of Carlin, Nevada. A portion of old Route 40 has been abandoned where the canyon loops north.

East end of Carlin Canyon. View is to the east. The "pyramid" rock pillar remains, however the top portion is gone. The construction of I-80 significantly altered the landscape. Postcard ca. 1960.
