Casselman Bridge

Formerly/Also Known As Little Crossings Bridge, Castleman Bridge

Grantsville, MD 21536

Constructed in 1815. At the time it was the largest single arch stone bridge in the world. The large arch was part of a plan to extend the C&O canal westward along the Casselman and Youghiogheney Rivers.
