Broad Street Bridge
West Broad Street
Columbus, OH 43215The first bridge at this site was in 1816 was a toll bridge built by Lucas Sullivant. A second bridge opened in 1834 and was a free covered bridge over the Scioto river. A third crossing opened in the mid 1880s. A fourth bridge opened in 1918. A fifth (and current) bridge opened in 1992.
