Stone Tavern (site)Formerly/Also Known As Patterson's TavernNational RoadLansing, OH 43912 From Centennial History of Belmont County, Ohio, A. T. McKelvey, ed. (1903): A few miles farther west was the well known Stone Tavern, now occupied today by John Patterson. At this point on the National Road there is a wonderful tree that has become a noted landmark.
