My direct ancestors migrated from Philadelphia PA, lived briefly among Friends in Richmond, and settled for life in Maple Grove in Huntington Co. It is the joy of my life to visit this place and all they contributed to the community. My visit there, 30 years ago, confirmed the beauty of their land beside the meetinghouse they built beside the Wabash River, Erie Canal and railroad. Time to visit again while I am still able to travel and hike. |
