Lemoyne Diner

Loch Raven & Greenmount Avenue
Baltimore, MD 21218

Manufacturer: O'Mahoney #1104 (1939)

In 1940, when Stanley Viguers set up a diner at the Bottleneck (271 Market Street) in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, it was a brand new O'Mahoney. Over the years Viguers bought two other O'Mahoney diners. In 1954, he sold the diner to the Shuman family; they later sold it to a Mr. Richards (or Richardson) who then sold it to a Mr. Keller. Eventually, Keller closed the diner and placed it in storage in Reeser's Summit. A few years ago the diner was sold to a Mr. Kiefauver who moved it to Baltimore.

The diner was undergoing renovations and was supposed to open under the name of Nibble and Clink and be placed next to the Senator Theatre. Those plans changed. The diner has since been sold to the American Diner Museum. It will reopen at the museum.

First, there is no American Diner Museum, and second, the diner has since been moved up to somewhere near Toronto, Canada.
