Crystal Grottoes Caverns

Boonsboro, MD(240) 217-7623 www.crystalgrottoescaverns.com Route 40's half dozen or so tourist caves are the answer to Route 66's Meramec Caverns. A smaller tourist cave (or show cave in the parlance of tourism). The tour through this limestone cave takes about 45 minutes.
I remember going here as a kid. (I wasn't lucky enough to visit the more upscale Luray Caverns.)
