World's Largest Vess Bottle

Saint Louis, MO 63106www.thebottledistrict.com This giant bottle was built in 1953 by the W.E. Caldwell Tank Company. It measures 35 x 6 feet and had 600 feet of neon tubing. It originally stood at the corner of Hampton Avenue and Gravois Boulevard. The bottle was in storage for some time and in 1989 it was remounted at this location. This part of Saint Louis is being developed under the name Bottle District.
