Tavern

McCollough's Tavern (site)

Formerly/Also Known As Mauler's Tavern, Yeast's Tavern

3998 National Pike
Farmington, PA 15437

From Searight's The Old Pike (1894):

The next old tavern is about four hundred yards from the last one [Old McCollough Stand], and was also built by Bryant, above mentioned, but not for a tavern. This house was kept successively by John McCollough, Morris Mauler and Adam Yeast, and is now kept by Nick McCollough. There were times when it had a 'good run' of patronage. Adam Yeast, one of its old occupants, was an eccentric character, and ultimately became a lunatic.
