Baltimore, MD 21201In Robert Bruce's The National Road (1916), he says the tavern existed, but had been greatly altered. Today, the site is an office building.
From Searight's The Old Pike (1894):
The Three Ton and Gen. Wayne taverns had each extensive stabling, and furnished accommodations for droves and drovers.
